field. Impact investing is on the rise as it allows one to receive financial returns while also attending to some of our largest social and environmental problems. To give a proper review, this paper discusses the current state of impact investing, the six dimensions that compose impact investing, the Framework of Action based on impact investment research, recommendations to enhance the field of impact investing, and case studies which detail real examples of impact investments. Since impact investing is relatively new, reports like this one are crucial in order to explain impact investing, and encourage more investors to become involved.
